It was a Sunday of fried chicken and chocolate cake and wine.
Fun.

I need to allow myself the okay-ness of these days and I actually believe that they are good for my system.

This morning ( and on, ad infinitum) I am ramping up my water intake substantially in order to promote good digestive health. I think that I drink plenty (at work I eschew coffee or tea in favor of water, all day) but it is not enough to get my bowels into gear. TMI, probably, but a cause for concern, here.

Back to clean eating today.

I so relate to the digestive issues. I am a cheese lover but cheese causes a real "traffic jam." I also have to watch those healthy raw veggies that play havoc with my intestines. I do fine with COOKED fresh vegetables. Are there times when you feel as if you are walking through the day with a head of cabbage in your intestine? Very uncomfortable. For whatever reason, WARM liquid in the morning seems to help for me. Not just coffee but anything warm like hat water with lemon juice.

Nothing wrong with days like you had Sunday as long as they're not the norm. I did something similar, trying to shake things up a bit and it was also nice to relax and energize again to continue on the journey. Best wishes for your success!
