Well, it is Day 2 of my renewed effort at weight loss. Planned to exercise after work, but had to finish getting ready for my weekend trip. I am glad I am eating under my calories. But to be honest, my RDI seems quite high. This weekend will be spent with family and food will abound with little exercise to combat it. I packed running clothes and will fit in a run or two. Thinking the morning is my best shot at it. Will just focus on making good choices one at a time. June 1st I begin training for a 10k. Training time is short (decided last minute to run it). Showed hubby my training schedule and already informed him I need to focus for this. Need to put my need to exercise first and stop letting scheduling conflicts occur. Feel guilty and selfish when I assert myself, but feel pissed and depressed when I don't. So pick the lesser of two evils. Wishing all a good night. Be back tomorrow.

I calculated my rdi and recommended intake through another site and then tweaked the numbers here to get it closer to what seems more reasonable. I love this site and the community, the rdi and caloric output seems to be calculated high though.

Will give this a try for awhile. At least it's easier to stay under with a # that high. :) I think that just being accountable and tracking will be a big plus. Taking laptop on vaca this weekend, so I can track. I know we will be doing some hiking around some falls, so I am looking forward to that exercise.
