ColetteMarie's Journal, 23 March 2014

My husband died this past November. He seemed exceptionally healthy and fit. I suspect the reason he would not go back to the VA after a check up over five years ago was they let him know he had cardiac problems--which he never told me about but his autopsy revealed were responsible for his shocking and unexpected death. Yet, I was the one who needed to lose weight. I want to get back into shape and if possible find a widower who is willing to start a new chapter of his life with me. I want to improve my health as much as I hope to find another soul mate who would be happy sharing memories of our lost loves because I know my late husband was a big part of whom I am today and I believe a widower who had an equally wonderful past would want to share those memories with someone but also wants to create new ones.

I know I am not ready for outside changes in my life right now so I trying to let myself deal with grief as I lose weight that I gained while having lots of good times over the years. I have lost ten pounds but still want to lose about 15 more pounds.I am glad I found this website and hope it works as well as other things have done the past few months.

It is impressive how much all of you are losing. I am taking a class at Kaiser and was tasked with tracking what I eat, this makes it so much easier than weight watchers was and best of all it's FREE!!! Plus there are so many great role models to top it off.
