pumakitten's Journal, 23 March 2014

I hope everyone has had a good weekend!
We had a little drama here, (neighbors) but that has been since resolved, and some great good has come of it. I think my neighbor has finally gotten the lesson that needed to be taught. She learned what needed to be learned. Which is the most important thing.

I have been sort of trolling lately, perusing the journals and commenting here and there, instead of writing my own. I am really going to have to do better, and try to journal everyday, or at least every other to every three days.It can get a little hard to do, watching a 4 and 5 year old. At least the weather is improving, and the school won't have any delays like they have had because of snow.

The weather has cooled down here, and we are in the 40's today, with some snow expected tomorrow night into Tuesday. Doesn't look like it will be much, and I'm glad. I have a Dr appointment I have to keep. The hubbs is taking the morning off to take me. I could probably drive down myself, but it will be nice for him to go and be there if I need him to drive back. Its not a huge distance, and time wise its only about a 25 minute drive one way. Not a serious issue type appointment, to ease every ones minds!!

In other subjects and ATF, I discovered a new prepackaged, premade sandwich, that didn't contain a whole flock of preservatives and additives!! I just may buy more, as I had 2 for lunch, and really enjoyed them. They are from Better Bakery of Valencia Cali. and were Philly Cheese steak pretzel melt. They were really really good too. Downside, 2 of them totaled 820 calories. Up side, one is 410 calories, with 45 grams of carbs and 25 grams of protein! Pretty filling too. I know that if we do pick up some more, it will be one for lunch, and two for supper, but not necessarily on the same day...lol!!

I was reading my buddy Bella's journal, and she has put a little something in my head. I want to try to get an adult tricycle! They don't look like the tricycles that the little ones used to ride, but a three wheeled bike.
we have a wonderful bike/walking trail here and I so want to take advantage of it. I don't think I'll ever be able to walk it any length, without taking a chair along to sit in when I get out of breath, but with that trike, I can sit on that while I recover! I will have to talk with the hubby, and see if we can't try to get one by this summer. The only bad part,I don't think you can get a bike rack for one...lol!

Well, thats about it for today, so have a wonderful Sunday evening everyone!

A trike is a wonderful idea to get you out and enjoying the trails!! Glad you are doing well :-)

You have me 'frenvious' (someone used that on my journal recently so I'm wearing it out) now - we don't have any trails like that around here that I know of --- and I'm not sure how I'll be able to transport my 'trike' (sounds so young and cute, doesn't it) to elsewhere unless I go buy a truck. But it's supposed to be here today (darn guy, wanted to play with his grandkids yesterday ... LOL) and I'm pretty excited.
