Last night I did a 5 mile set on the bike, it kicked my ass. I decided to walk it off so I did a mile around the track at a nice steady pace. I did some flexibility traing... Then guess what!? I got back on that bike and did NINE MORE MILES!!! I was soo excited. Today I feel good! My ass hurts a little from the seat! I think I am going to bring a towel to sit on tonight. I expected my legs to hurt today but they don't. I am not sure why but my arms are killing me today. I can barely lift them over my head! I didn't do any lifting last night either. I wonder if they could be hurting from the upper body strength training I did 2 nights ago, even though they were fine yesterday. At any rate, its ok to push yourself and I did, but I didn't "over do it." Its nice to have friends and co-workers that go to the same gym as me. It makes working out almost a "social occasion" even though we are all there for different reasons. We talk and motivate each other while doing the workouts! It's great. I love that my gym is open 24/7! It means, there is time, and no excuses!!!! My favorite time to go is around 2AM. Right after I get out of work! I go workout then come home, have a banana and get a shower and then go to bed! Well, off to have breakfast! I'm loving this new lifestyle and all of the happiness and energy that it brings!
