Hey all!! I have been kind of busy, so I haven't been very good at keeping up on my entries.
I have had the kids almost every day last week and it was just me and my little Rayne today. Her brother got to go to school finally!! lol!! At least she was really good today, instead of her little terrorist self!!!

We had a good lunch today too! I made some mini burgers for her and she loved them! I get some really good, lean ground chuck from a local store. Its like 95% lean!! Well, I made them the size of about a silver dollar. I added a dab of nacho cheese dip after they were cooked, and put them on the round Premium saltine crackers. They were just a little bit bigger than the cracker. The kids had them yesterday too, and you would have thought it was Christmas or something!! lol!! The simple pleasures of childhood, gotta love it!!

I'm still doing the one pound bounce, but thats ok. At least I'm not gaining!! This is good, as its practice for my maintenance phase when I finally get to where I want! I am hoping to be able to get a laptop this weekend. I really hope so!!! Then I won't have to keep sharing this desktop! lol!! I have to make sure I have every thing done that I need to do by the time the hubs gets home. Its been a big PIA!!

I had a little round with my bronchitis, but thats over with, and now I have to take my cat buddy Barney in to the vet today. Poor little guy has the snarkies... he's been sneezing, runny eyes and nose, so its in to the vet to get some antibiotics. The fun is always getting it in to him!! Its a liquid, and he does put up a little fight. I have tried putting it in the food, but they always know, and won't eat it...go figure. Oh well, but I know he will be his old self in no time!!

Hey stranger - good to hear from you and yep on the one lb bounce; just give it time and take it in stride. This is the part they call maintenance - at least that's what I'm telling myself about mine bounding 5lbs up and down for over six months. Those mini burgers sound cute... and you're right... kid's just love miniature stuff, don't they? I remember when I was a child I HATED eating Brussels sprouts (tho I love them now) but would pocket them and take them out and play with them in the yard and line them up like perfect little heads of lettuce being tended to by my mussed up Barbie doll Farmer.

At least you're not gaining, is right! Poor Kitty, I don't know what Snarkies is, but I hope Barney will feel better soon. I am blessed with 5 cats of my own, so yeah .. I'm a huge kitty lover <3
