Happy to see another pound permanently gone. I weigh myself everyday, but only record what the scale says on Monday. A couple times this week I dipped down to 163, so I know that number will stick soon.

I have been increasing my daily/weekly step goal every week for the past 3 weeks. This past week I did not exceed my goal for the first time. I finally hit a number that will take more thought and effort. So for this week my step goal will stay the same as last. I have been rewarding myself for hitting my step count with fresh toe nail paint. Since I didn't hit my goal, I'll be looking down at chipped paint this week. A good visual reminder to get moving!

I counted my birthday as a holiday, so there were only 6 days of goals to hit. Some goals I hit on more days than planned.

The one day I went over my target for carbs was totally self sabotage. I realized it and felt terrible. That old habit of I screwed up once so I may as well do it again crept in. I have now updated my journal to include a reminder not to do this to myself. I deserve better. One mistake does not mean I have failed my whole day.

Goals for this week aren't' changing much. I'll be reducing my carbs a bit more and adding in a daily meditation.

<2 glasses of wine or gin 5 days
