Yesterday was the one year mark exactly that this journey started for me. On Dec. 1st 2012 I came back from Southern California weighing 150 pounds. That is the heaviest I have been ever. So, I got some exercise DVD's and a thick notebook and got to work. I started working out to Jackie Warner DVD's and used her Book called This is Why Your Fat....and followed a 1400 calorie diet. I did mark down everything I ate and still do and I wrote down every exercise from all of the Power Circuits that I trained from. I actually hit my goal weight of 125 pounds on May 2nd 2012! But I kept going down and I think that was because I started playing a great sport called Pickleball and that really melted the pounds, so I had to up the calories. I hit 120 on Sept. 19, 2012 and decided that was low enough as I am 5'4" tall and 62 years old. I can't lose anymore weight and I don't want to. It is so nice to have that 5 pound leeway to play with. I worked really hard for this and I deserved to win! I also watched the Biggest Loser faithfully all through season 14 and loved watching Danni Allen win that competition. Recording calories and exercise routines is a way of life...I am the healthiest I have ever been. I can now do Jillian Michaels advanced workouts from her DVDs...and she is one tough trainer!
