We had a going away party for my friend at work yesterday. What a spread. I ate my regular salad and just avoided the food. I know what I want so I just don't think about what I'm missing. Really, the problem is all of that stuff is soo bad for you anyway, like a drug, so I really need to not just avoid it now but learn to not need it ever. It's really hard to think that for my long-term health I really shouldn't have them ever. I have in the past "tasted" them, having a small bite, but that usually leads to just letting go which is when I find myself going back to my old habits.
Hang in there. It's for the heart health.
