I'm having some fun, trying to eat a semi late lunch. Two of my fur babies are insisting on helping mom eat it!! Any one who has cats eats like this: plate or bowl in hand, and usually raised above your head!! I'm doing the one handed typing right now also.

OK,everyone is now shooed off to play, moms lunch is now down to a shake in a bottle, so that isn't interesting, and we can't get into it. Lord Above, I love my little furkids!! I'm having a multi function day...lol!! I am trying to type this journal, and a friend keeps texting me.. Oh well!! Thats the reality of todays technology! Almost everyone has a cell phone, or a laptop, tablet, computer, etc. Sometimes all of those and more! I've seen kids that haven't been taught how to count change back to you when you purchase something. They all rely on the register to tell them what to give you back. They rely on what the answer is when they use a calculator to figure out a math problem.

The dumbing down and fattening up of American youth and people in general. I myself have been feeling much better, and thinking more clearly, since I have been getting rid of the processed, additive laden foods in my house. I've noticed that my very outspoken mom is now more complacent. She just kind of goes with the flow, instead of complaining about anything. That's not like her. My hubby is starting to be that way too. He still likes to have his quick snacky processed junk.

I had better get off that subject, I have a tendency to get a little preachy on that subject. In a nutshell, organic, non GMO foods and additive free food is way better for you and your body. I always read ingredient labels, and those with unnecessary additives go back on the shelf.

I have to go for now, I am making chicken roll ups for supper, and I need to find something to use to flatten some chicken breasts!! I am putting a kitchen mallet on my next shopping list!! I hope everyone is having a great over the hump day!!! Keep that diet battle going, and I'll be right here for support!!
