Have a graduation party for my kids tonight. One graduated kindergarten, one 8th grade and my middle promoted from 5th to middle school. The schools refused to do any graduations or anything special except for seniors. Seniors got an outside ceremony at school last month and this month a drive thru celebration and an actual inside graduation. Kinda stinks they can do all that for one graduating class but leave out the others. So we are having family over for burgers outside.
It’s supposed to rain more so I hope it stops by 5. I don’t want 20+ people in the house right now. Some told me they’d just been to hotspots this week knowing they’d RSVPed to come here tonight. We have older relatives coming and I don’t want anyone to get sick.

We still have to set up for that after hubby mows. Gotta pick up the cake, take a shower, find somewhere for the kittens since they love on the porch, clean off the porch, set up volleyball, etc.
My old cat passed this morning. Stayed up with him half the night last night so I’m exhausted today. Gotta get him buried soon too.
Feeling queasy again this morning. Partly nerves and anxiety. Partly from lack of sleep and losing my kitty I’ve had since birth back in early 2002.
So much to keep my mind off of next week! Today at least!
Probably going to be another high calorie day. Now I’m glad I extended the 1800-2000 kcal diet experiment through this week or I’d be a nervous wreck about my diet too.

It went well! Never did hear from half the family so we ended up having tons of leftover hamburger patties. Kids had a good time. Family seemed to have a good time.
