Very strange weather day today. Radar map keeps showing storms heading our way or, at the very least, heavy rain. But it fizzles when it gets almost right on top of us. Still, the clouds are all dark and look quite stormy. And, according to my Nervous Nellie, the storms are definitely coming! It's been quite the effort, time-wise, to get her relaxed enough to eat, go outside, do her business, etc.

So, because I thought it was going to storm any minute, we didn't do our exercise walking. Not thrilled about Stairmaster or any Xbox adventures, either. Maybe swimming? As long as it's not storming, it's no big deal if it's raining.

I have a little cooking to do this afternoon and rainy-day chores too. I let myself get too hungry yesterday late in the day and paid for it with an overindulgence of PB. I SHOULD know better. I really thought I was going to be OK, hunger-wise, when I left the thrift store and headed over to another town to run various errands. I thought about taking something with me, but didn't want to take a cheese stick (because I'm trying to avoid cheese right now) and I didn't want to take an Atkins bar (trying to curb SAs). Ultimately, I would have been better off taking one of those rather than gorging on PB later when I got home. Still living and learning, I guess.

Very, very fortunately, the PB didn't do any damage to me on the scale this AM, but it did me no good either. I'm thinking it was because my calories and carbs were so low prior to that. I simply lucked out....this isn't something I can repeat and still bear no real consequences.

Back to better meals and balance today.

Learning, always learning. Glad the PB didn't do any damage. You could have had a spoonful of coconut oil too? I did that yesterday when I thought I was hungry and the good fat stilled the demon :)
