Up early today, thanks to a catfight in my basement all over my ductwork!!! Sheehs guys!! A gal would like to sleep!!!

I decided to skip my little diet buddy this morning. I was really nervous and shaky yesterday. I think part of it may have been low blood sugar. I ended up drinking 2 cans of Pepsi Throwback yesterday. I feel better today. I'll ask my doc about going every other day with it, or maybe just ditch it all together, I really don't know how much help its giving me. I don't think I really needed an appetite suppressant. Might just be the new description of diet pill...lol!!!

Got my coffee, and am trying to figure out what is for lunch today. I got really miffed yesterday, I had to throw out most of the organic baby spinach that I got on saturday!! Dam stuff got all yellow and slimy really fast!! Oh well, just have to do with out it,

I think I may just go shopping when the hubby gets home, because I'm out of cauliflower too. I dug out my steamer yesterday, I had completely forgot about it!!! At least I got to make myself some steamed spinach before throwing the rest out. I love my steamer.!! It has 2 'baskets' on it. One is deeper than the other, and they stack one on top of the other. You can steam an entire meal it this!! I did just that last year when I got this. Makes great salmon!!! And makes good potatoes too!! One nice thing, no added fats from cooking. But then , sometimes I add a little butter for flavor anyway...lol!!!

Got a call this morning from my Dr, during the catfight in the basement wake up. I have an MRI appointment for August 3rd, to see if there is any change in my herniated disc, or the bulging ones. Doc thinks they may be impinging on a nerve and is causing my groin pain. We'll see. I requested the open MRI. The last time I had one on my back,, I was in the regular one and I almost freaked out!!!

I did pretty good the last 2 days on getting to 1200 calories. Still haven't made it to 1800. but I know I have that cushion. Still struggling with the carbs too. It's a pain in the rear when you have Thyroid issues and low blood sugar issues. I think maybe my body is clearing out all the gunk that has accumulated in it the last few years. I'm going to keep up the lower carbs for the next week.

Hopefully I'll start feeling good again soon. I still have low energy. At least I don't wake up exhausted any more, which is a good thing. I hope I can get in some good exercise today too!!

Well, I'm off!! Have a great day everybody!! Keep up the Diet Battle!!! I'll be right here rooting you on!!!

Hi! Hope you have a good day.. I was wondering what prescription are you taking? I am just curious, I took one before that worked pretty well, and am thinking of getting back on it to help with appetite also. I had a hysterectomy last year and am in FULL blown menopause and my craving for sugar is off the chart at times, almost like PMS. Strange how that works.

Hi ranchgirl!! I am on phentermine which is the generic of Adipex-P, or Suprenza. It makes me jittery.lol. I think it has a lot to do with messing with my blood sugar. I have already went through the big M, and I do know what you mean. Your hormones are all over the scales. I went with natural hormone replacement, instead of the HRT through the doctor. I did a lot of research, and going natural is much healthier and less dangerous! I got red clover and black cohosh supplements for the hot flashes, and it helped. There for a while, I was wearing tank tops and sleeveless tops all year round!!
