Although my day started out with a little guilt about last night's martinis, the day went really well for me. I got a lot of things accomplished. While I did not do my normal bike ride for the day, I washed and polished my car, so I got in a pretty good workout. I managed to stay just under my total allowed calories for today. Also, I was pleased with the amount of carbs for today, which I am trying to stay away from. My carbs would have been almost 0 today, except this happened to be the day the dinner plan was for me to make eggplant lasagna. It was delicious and I did not have very much, but the carbs were terrible. But it's okay, because my carb percentage intake was much less today then yesterday which was my first day on the diet. While I did not lose or gain, I still feel as though I am making progress toward my goal. I already feel better about myself and look forward to seeing the results soon.

I did really well yesterday on my first day, until it came time to relax at the end of the night. I accepted the offer of a couple of martinis with 3 olives each. Although I did not go much over my total calorie count for the day, I should not have put those drinks in me since they are not good calories. I will not make this mistake again, especially seeing how guilty I feel about it the next day. I must be more strict with myself! Cont.... up above...
