Today was a really bad day as you can see by my calorie intake. I have been trying to maintain less than 1500 calories a day and today I blew that all to hell and back. Extremely pissed at myself but I was STARVING all day! And the last few days I have not been this hungry, even though I ate less!
The whole hunger thing started after breakfast...and yes I ate fewer calories for breakfast than I normally do....so that bad start may have been why the rest of the day was just screwed. After breakfast, I did something I do once a week...I turned on Spongebob and sat down to play my Club Pogo weekly badges..this is normally when I stuff my face with cookies, cakes, candy bars and other assorted junk. Instead, I ate a rice cake and drank another bottle of water. Finished those badges pretty quickly and got up and made myself and the kids some lunch...did pretty good there but was still hungry. After lunch, the kids took a nap and I did too. This is what sucks....I dreamt of eating a damned big mac with lots of extra sauce...and it was a HUGE big mac....before I woke up, I just remember picking my face up out of the sandwich and my entire face being covered in big mac sauce. Gross.
Well by the time dinner got here, I was STARVING! So I pigged out. :( On top of that, I did NO exercise today.....but I think I am going to get myself motivated and go walk for a least 20 minutes....I need it after the day I've had.

Good thing today is not weigh in day! GRRRR!


EDIT: I did manage to get in a 25 minute walk!

Thank you for your kind comment. Thought I'd let you know, if I may be so bold, that you didn't do too bad & the great thing is you a) realize breakfast is important for you b) did get in that walk c) were able to journal about your experience & thoughts. Try not to be so hard on yourself -- you did do quite well. Keep it up & btw we are both on the Green Team for the upcoming Biggest Loser Challenge. See ya there =)
