Well, I took the first step and signed up here on the site. I started out weighing 265 in March. After having surgery in April, I started to lose weight. Now, I am at 244 and actually motivated to keep going. I am down 2 dress sizes, and I didn't even do anything! Sure, after the surgery I started losing the water weight and weight associated with loss of appetite. But, if I actually put my mind to dieting and exercising, imagine how much weight I can lose!!!! I set my goal weight at 180 for now...I can always set a new goal once I reach that one. I know I will never be skinny, but I would love to be chunky. I bought a gorgeous dress that is 2 sizes too small. I want to be able to wear it to the company Christmas party. So, my first short-term goal is to get into that dress by December 12th.
