Sandy701's Journal, 13 September 2010

3-mile walk this AM. Gorgeous day since the cold front came thru. It was just in the mid-70's this AM but so much less humid and with a strong steady breeze as well. DH did the front lawn (first time since his knee surgery in June)and I'll do the back later. Dogs love this nicer weather.

I ate odd things yesterday, some in honor of the start of the NFL season (Packers won!!), but all were generally fine for staying on plan. The summer sausage had carbs, as well as nitrites, and even a gram of trans fat(!), but having it is not an everyday occurence. I also boiled the pieces first, which reduces some of the salt and fat.

I'm one pound off from my goal for the Christmas Challenge...should be down 9 and I'm down 8. But that's OK, as I've made up some ground from last week. Need to try to drop 2 this week, but, as always, that's a tall order for me.
