Really blew it on Sunday. I was soooo tired. Instead of sleeping I ate. Toward the evening I had to take my Mom to the ER (on-going health issues), so McDonald's it was (no salads here :(

I had 2 elderly relatives (mom & uncle) whom I was primary caretaker for the last decade. Between hospital trips and nursing home trips, it's no wonder I had a hard time with my weight. I have a good idea where you are at right now and it is difficult. Everyone kept telling me to make sure I take care of myself, but I never listened - or should I say I never heard what they were saying. So I will parrot the same with a bit of understanding - Remember to take care of yourself!

Doug, thanks for the comments. It is funny that I actually spent a ton of money to get a tread climber because I didn't want to end up like my Mom with a bunch of health problems. Ironically, because of hospital trips, dtrs appointments, and weekly care, I have very little time of energy for exercise and make bad food choices. I know I'm preaching to the choir. I'm hoping this forum will help me stay focused and motivated :)
