I'm reading a thread on the Atkins forum. The poster was stalled for
eight months. And I've been whining about not losing for two weeks? What a baby!
I also think that, as big as I am, I'm not getting quite enough calories. My
BMR is 2176. My
activity level is moderately active (moderate exercise 3-5 times per week).
According to this, my daily energy expenditure is 3372.8.
However, the page itself has a caveat that it will overestimate calories for the very fat (which I am), but not by how much.
Would it be safe to assume 3000, maybe? Or should I just keep trying to come in about 20% less than the RDI Fatsecret has suggested for moderate weight loss?
Numbers... they are not my strong point.
