Had my best friend's son's 5th birthday party today. Had 3 small slices of pizza and one tiny piece of cake. Not the best meal choice but I failed to plan better so it is what it is.
Went out for sushi tonight (also for his bday) which is impossible to track on here. Stuck primarily to high protein, lean choices (there was a little rice involved but not too much). Had a little general tso chicken (less than a cup) too but that was my indulgence.
I'm proud of myself for not eating everything I could have but I need to work on planning more for situations like this where I know in advance healthy options are unlikely.
Live and learn and do better.

Limiting portions is the best option sometimes, depriving yourself of yummy food can get really discouraging after awhile. Good job controlling the urge to go overboard, and keep it up :-)
