livelifefully's Journal, 10 June 2008

Hey ladies,
I haven't been on the site in a few days and finally was able to read some journals and catch up with you. I will head to the gym for a hard workout this morning. Hopefully now I can get a routine figured out with my new work schedule.

I went in to work with the intention of giving my notice to leave already. I have been pretty down b/c I haven't really enjoyed the job too much. It did feel better yesterday though so I decided to stick it out a little longer and see if I like it more. There could also be other postions that open up within the company that are more suited to my interests and strengths.

Well, time to get ready to work out. Hope you all have a great day. I actually weighed 141.8 this morning, so I should be able to record a loss on my weigh in day for tomorrow or Thurs.

Hugs to all my great buddies out there! Rachel

Its not just you! Work has sucked (pardon my language) for a lot of people lately. Don't know what's going on. I've been tempted to leave my job of 3 years because of lack of respect. My mom has been having a rough time too. My husband LOST his job a couple months ago. Hang in there and give yourself enough time to figure it out. Some days will be up and others will be down. *hugs* Hang in there!!!

A new job, new routine, new everything-- it's a lot to adjust to, especially if you don't feel it's truly suited to you. Hang in for a bit and see if it works out, but if not, definitely don't stick it out for too long. Good job on what looks to be a good loss for the week. Have a great workout!

When you spend a good part of your day at work, it is certainly not worth the stress if it makes you miserable. Do give it a chance and don't be afraid to discuss your concerns with your boss (unless the problem IS your boss!). Sometimes things can be adjusted to suit you better. But if it doesn't pan out in the end, don't feel guilty. You have to put your happiness first.
