resa79's Journal, 20 July 2010

So I have mapped out everything I'll eat today - and I'm at 114% of my RDI... which is fine, because it's all healthy food and I'm ok with extra calories from raw fruit and veggies. I also have bikram yoga today, which burns a lot of calories.

I'm feeling pretty good lately... I'm chalking it up to going to yoga about every second day, and to watching my portions. I still go over my calorie limit, but I think it's ok because of the types of foods I'm consuming.

Weekends now... weekends are bad. I have no control. Too much socializing at restaurants etc. and the occasional drink really ruins it for me. And I'm less likely to get exercise as well. What's a gal to do?!

And late night eating is bad too... yesterday went well until I snacked on popcorn. Because of that bottomless pit I call a husband wanting to make some!

Oh, today on my lunch break I bought new workout/yoga clothes... it's been a long time since I'be bought gym clothes... I usually rotate between 2-3 pairs of track pants and some t-shirts, but they're not enough these days... which is a good sign! : )

Can't yet justify lululemons, but I bought yoga shorts and adidas capris for hot yoga, a hot pink adidas moisture wicking tee, black moisture wicking nike tee and a hoodie. The best part? All $90 and some change @ sports mart. Not bad!!

You actually might be lower than your RDI. Fatsecret had about a +/- 10% accuracy. My RDI for fat secret is at 1398 but my actual RMR test indicated that my RDi is 1598. Also, you are burning more than what you are eating, so you are on the right track.. I totally love bikram yoga. I need to get back into it.

This is my first time seeing this reply. Hmm, I will look into my RDI for sure... I'll see what my doctor says it should be at. Thanks!
