I'm fidgety hungry. Everything I see I want to eat and of course most of what I see is full of sugar! I really am having issues with sugar cravings, even crackers just sound wonderful to me. I am starting week two and have lost a few pounds I suppose, but no where near jumping up and down about. I've fluctuated to this weight before and gone right back to 189. So until I see 170-something, I'm not going to get over excited. My husband eats whatever if anything for breakfast and then goes out for lunch and eats whatever I'm having for dinner. He has lost like 5 or 6 pounds without even thinking. It's ridiculous!

I went to a German Tavern yesterday with family for lunch and ordered a soup and sandwich combo. While I was ordering she asked what type of bread and I say, "Actually no bread thanks" and she said "Oh you're definitely pregnant I can tell, how far along are you?"

*Sigh* No I am not pregnant. I'm just fat. But thanks for noticing. Thanks for noticing that I'm overweight and thanks for bringing up the point that I'd love to be pregnant but cannot seem to get there!

I'm not sure it's real hunger though. I said fidgety hungry, because I think it is more of "just because I want to". And of course, as my husband comes home and fills the fridge with Dr. Pepper and Ginger Ale, my favorites! Ugh.

another idea is to chew sugarless gum or find something to do with your hands, knit? crochet? buff your nails? file your nails?

for whatever reason it seems this website isn't about letting you share web sites. Try typing it in sentence to word format meaning: 3w dot southbeach-di etc use "dot" instead of the "." And trick the program from knowing it's a web address.

How terrible of that stupid waitress... OFF WITH HER HEAD!! sounds like you were staying on program and just keep at it, it will get easier. If yu are getting hungry it might be that your choices are higher on the glycemic level and making you crave foods and feel hungry too soon. here is a link (I hope it works) that might help you make better choices. Grrr!!!! That waitress needs to be slapped! You go girl. You know what you need, so hang in there! We're here for you!!! :) When I'm hungry I like eating rice cakes with laughing cow and sugar free jam. YUM! Try it, you might like it. It helps me!
