What a Way to start off the new year!!!! My family and I went for a nice 1.5 mile hike up Sunrise Mountain in Peoria Az on New Years Eve. This was a great start cause my children are 6 and 4 and my husband has a bad knee and I am way out of shape. We all made it up to the top of the mountain and back!!!! So yesterday, on New Years, I went to the gym and worked out on the elliptical for an hour and then my family went for a walk before dinner. Probably about a mile. My kids were having so much fun!!! One step at a time, right!!!! Kuddos for the Brennan Family!!!!!!!

Another Arizonan! I'm so glad you are enjoying the beauty that surrounds us. Seeing the desert from the top of the Mountain is definitely a motivator for me to get in better shape so I can keep exploring. I never liked the desert (too much dirt), until I hiked up into the mountains to see how much beauty Arizona really has to offer. Enjoy the new weather and the opportunities to be outdoors!
