My main focus on my diet is to keep my fat content as low as possible. I read a book by Dr. Dean Ornish (Eat More, Weigh Less)that says my fat intake should be between 17-27 grams/day. When I do that, my calorie count naturally comes in way below my RDI.
Yesterday I kept my fat down to 14 and struggled to get my Kcals up to 1200 (should be 1700 according to FS). My fear is that I will put my body into starvation mode if I don't feed it enough. I am going to review some tips in the book, but could use some outside input too.
Do you have any suggestions for fat free (or extremely low fat) foods I can incorporate into my diet? I don't eat any meat or fish, I do eat eggs and dairy but they tend to be high fat.
