Drink water when you get hungry, and wait 10 minutes before eating.
Thirst masquerades as hunger, and if you drink water first, you will know and be less likely to binge

I have this issue! Truckin or at home I’m like, coffee and snacks through the day then hungry after the work day! My solution is not eating until late in the day. Just need to keep the calories in check...!!!

Your trigger is 6:00 pm. So, you need to find an alternative. Do you release stress from work at this time? Do you eat a majority of your calories during the day and save only a few for at night? I used to eat in the evening in my favorite chair in front of the TV. So, my rule is to never eat while in that chair. I also consume my largest meal at night. Stopped the habit. I record everything that goes in my mouth as well. Hope that helps. 💚

Eat mostly protein...avoid carbs which could be adding a craving by themselves. try water-great idea above. Be more active at that time of day--do not sit and have available food nearby--try a yoga class or some other community ed class? evening grazing is an issue for me as well. Have you looked at maybe there is some emotional hunger you might be trying to fill with food??

I have had this issue for years, but have not had it since increasing my fat (Keto lifestyle). Now, I get up and do the dishes and i'm honestly not only not hungry physically, but not even tempted to emotionally eat. I hope I can keep this up!!!
