Why the hell am I so unmotivated to work out lately? I think it must partly be the heat... it's like 81 degrees in the house - this crappy AC unit doesn't do anything. I had to sleep out in the living room on the couch last night because it was just too hot upstairs. I can't wait to move...

I will work out tonight - it might not be long, probably just my 30 day challenge. Meh, not gonna be the greatest weekend working out - tomorrow morning my friend is defending for his master's thesis, so after that we'll probably be celebrating all day. Part of it I'm sure will consist of fishing but probably a lot of eating and drinking (he's a big guy... lol eats a ton of crap). I'll be good, but probably won't do any REAL exercise.

Saturday I'm driving 2 hours up to see my friend who just moved back from NV. I can't believe two of my great friends from Indiana are moving to Illinois to go to school - and both living together! It's like crazy! A reunion. But hopefully him and I will be walking around and stuff, so at least we'll be moving. Probably gonna be too tired to work out when I get home but we'll see. If I'm home early enough we'll probably go fishing. Then back to routine on Sunday.

I really need to get motivated though, I meant WTF. I think it's cause I don't expect to see the scale move. I weigh myself randomly now and I'm always the same. SO FRUSTRATING. It's making me care less about being involved on this site, because I'm stalling out. (I know I've been complaining about this for like 3 days, sorry but seriously...)

Crap I don't want to get off my butt. I could sit here all night and just mess around on the computer and watch TV, lol sad...

Oh girlie-girl...I'm feelin' for you. You KNOW I do, right? 'Cause if anyone can understand - it's me! My scale is moving, so you may forget just how long I had to deal with almost no results, in spite of working out so damn hard at least six days a week and generally eating pretty well. WHEN it starts to move again, you'll be SO happy you didn't give up. And actually, I'm just being selfish here 'cause you've become pretty important to me. I don't want to lose you! You've kept me motivated thru this process...what can I do to reciprocate? You've worked too hard to give up. But I do get it, working out is pretty damn hard when it's 81 degrees in the house. Yuck. I have the a/c on, but put one of those window dual fans in the room with me, too. I don't have it in the window, just propped up and have that sucker on full blast. It's one thing to sweat, which we "want", but another to just be feeling crappy and over-heated - a totally different feeling. Like, I don't understand the whole idea of "hot yoga". I mean, I get it - you need muscles to be warm to stretch and all, but work out in a room already hot?! Uh-uh, not me. I don't know if you have Big Lots there, but I bought my fan for like $20 and it's the best thing. When it cools off again, I can put it in the window and bring in cool air from the outside. I can also use it to exhaust smoke and stuff when I make steaks in the house. I just love it. Anyway, something like that would make sleeping AND working out more comfortable. You're entitled to bitch, I did it for MONTHS! : ) But don't give up. You really don't want to go through what I'm going through later in life. Take care. Please??
