Amarok's Journal, 11 April 2008

Okay - today seems to be a day when I'm being hunted by hunger and craving protein. So I'm trying to listen to my body - and keep to feeding it real food with real nutritional value. Maybe the protein cravings mean I'm building muscle (fingers crossed).

I think I've finally tamed it but I've got like 8 pts left between now and bed, so its going to be a light supper I think or I'm going to need to do some extra working out. I'm feeling calm today - and motivated and looking forward to spring. My blog has been suffering from too much inside time and my geraniums really really want to go back outside where there is light and stuff. I think I agree with them.

I'm looking forward to two mornings in a row with Bruce (one of those aerobics instructors that really makes you work hard).

My goal for the weekend - fit in 15 minutes of extra weight training each day - targetting those abs and triceps because there is only 2 weeks until I have to wear that sleeveless dress. Eeek!

Good luck on your goal. It will be worth the work! I don't look forward to going to those aerobics instructors that work me. I find that I enjoy the classes with mostly dance much more that ones with strength and body conditioning. I probably should look more forward to classes that work me harder. Dancing is fun, but it doesn't do as much in the long term.

Actually - its mostly a low impact aerobics class with a bit of toning tacked on at the end. Its just seriously aerobic. Its actually one of the better choreographed ones too - you can tell he puts thought into it. I too, am guilty of avoiding toning classes in favour of cardio. Sweating is okay, but I dislike pain. :P
