Amarok's Journal, 10 April 2008

Well - I'm back up as expected, but it just gives me some umph to face the next week. I've had a good start - and hopefully I can keep going. My biggest challange is that we are going out for my grandpa's birthday and I'm sure that will involve lots of yummy food. I'm going to try and drum up as many points as I can by going to the gym and if the weather permits starting to work on my garden. I'm sure a couple of hours of hauling dirt should excuse a good supper. But I'll also try to save some for lunch the next day.

LOL.. there it is - I wrote it here, now I have to stick with it.

Family meals are often hard. Great job planning ahead to earn some activity points! You'll do great!

Don't worry about it - you said you are going out to dinner - that gives you a lot more options than eating at someones home where they are only serving one thing. Have a big salad (no dressing) first, and then order what you want, and don't eat it all. No one says you have to all your meal!

At the Dr. this week, I was told that the change of the weather is making a lot of people retain extra water and so on. So, we can try to be good together at Grandpa's birthday, and we might get a boost next week if we drop some of the bloat.
