Well only three days into using this site and I already got bored with keeping my food/exercise diary updated daily. After working all day I really don't feel much like looking up the food I ate and entering it into a website. Ah well, I'm still sticking to my guns, I'm just bad at recording it. Maybe I'll go back now and fill it all out. It would be good to keep a record, it's just a pain. :)

It seems like I lost 3lbs this week. I say "seems like" because I've been weighing in between 249-253lbs regularly for months. Plus, I had my period this last week. Not sure if I can count this as a good week or just another yo-yo. We'll see after a few more weeks.

As for this whole low-cal thing.. it's not that hard to not consume too many calories - the trick I think is in what kinds of calories you eat. I'm sure this seems like common sense to most people, but it may be lost on some. I had a day where I barely scratched the recommended minimum 1200 calories.. but the items I ate were high in fat and sugar, low in good-for-you stuff. Sure, less calories overall, but if the body isn't getting good fuel, not gonna lose anything. Yeah, I know, common sense, but still a good thing to point out, if only to remind myself later when I try to rationalize those extra snacks cuz I have "room" in my daily calories. ;)
