Today I thought about losing weight and what it really means to ME. I'm not doing this so that someone else can look at me and say "you look good". This is about ME setting a goal, doing the work, and achieving what I've set out to do. I am also losing weight in another way. I am working hard to get past so much hurt over the past year and a a half, so much disappointment, and frustration. Emotional weight is sometimes more heavy than physical weight to me. And as these pounds are coming off, I pray that I am strong-willed enough to release the heaviness that has been resting on my heart for so long. I am ready to let it all go so that I can soar!!
