Hi Everyone,
I am back after a absence of several years. I was recently diagnosed with Diabetes 2. My doctor suggested a few changes to my diet and put me on Synjardy. I have lost about 25 pounds since the first week of August and I feel great. Started at 292
and today am 267. Best part, all of my blood work is now in the normal range (after only 3 weeks of WOE change) except ALT but it too came way down. I can tell cutting out added sugar and white flour has made my knees feel so much better. I don't want to say I am doing keto because I doubt I am. I am tracking my carbs and its working so far. I have been skulking around the last 7 weeks and am now ready to raise my head and say hey! So Hey!! Thanks for being the wonderful supportive community you are. I learn a lot from you guys!

good for you, low carb healthy food choices is a great way to obtain your goal, you don't have to do keto to lower your refined carbs and cut out sugar.
