I'm not going to lie.. I haven't eaten very much these past two days. I had a really rough break up and trying to eat just made my stomach hurt. Which is a lot different than I used to be turning to food for comfort and eating my feelings instead of addressing them. I am going to move forward with my life and continue with my journey I have worked so hard for. ❤️

I lose my appetite when stuff like happens too. Actually, happened last weekend. Broke up, but got back together and now my appetite is fine. Funny how that works! Just remember to take care of yourself. If you don’t have much of an appetite, drink water and stay hydrated at the very least. Keep trying to have a little something here and there but don’t force it. Things will always get better my dear. Stay positive!

Dear Loveshope, I am sorry that you are having to endure such a sense of loss. I will suggest that you listen to any one of many lectures by James Hillman. Far from a self-help psychologist, his views are far-reaching and 100% tangible. Listening to any one of his interviews or lectures my create a spark of fascination and possible a sense of wonder. I hope such will be the case. Look online and watch as Youtube videos. — Doug

I always looked my best during my break-ups, LOL. Seriously. I lost my appetite and then when it did come back, I found that I didn't eat as much. I could just kind of eat when I wanted, if I wanted. My hubby now--he loves to cook and I've put on over 100 pounds--not good! I'm so sorry you are going through a break-up. I hope you have a really good friend to help you through it. Walking and talking with one of my best friends got me through one of mine.

Thank you so much everyone for your support. It means the world to me! I have my sister here for me and my fur babies to cuddle. I know everything will get better in time. ❤️

When God closes one door it is for His purpose and your protection. Keep a clear separation between these two issues of your life. Deal with them individually unless you were HERE for him rather than to improve your own health. Breaking up AND falling in love... one sure thing that happens is weight loss! If you could bottle it you’d be a millionaire !

Hang in there, I know the pain is deep, but the healing will be complete, and you'll be better for it.

Food is only a tool. You have to use it to keep healthy. Eat, you need it for your mind and soul.

I went through many breakups and feeling like a failure only to realize that the pain was a necessary step to finding the true love of my life. I was so insistent to have someone that I didn’t realize I wasn’t aware of gods timing. At 45 I finally hit the jackpot😊 I’m 55 now and it’s been an amazing 10 years. You will be ok. Trust in God’s timing and take this time to feel sad for a bit then brush yourself off and concentrate on you. Your true love is out there probably fixing and preparing themselves for you💕

If you like yo roller skate (as i do)..worked at skate country as a kid. But you will love down hill skiing. The view is awesome and speed is fast. Same exact moves as skating ...i suggest setting a goal to go skiing !!
