Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful moms out there! This morning I ran the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Philadelphia. Despite it being FREEZING, almost all uphill, and the wind blowing in the opposite direction, I managed to finish the 5k in about 29 minutes. It was a great time and I'm so proud of myself for completing my first 5k!

Wow! That's an awesome time! I hope I can do so well when I do the race in Phoenix- I'm more worried it will be hot than cold event though it isn't until october! Congrats on doing it, that's really something to be proud of :)

Yeah I was so surprised I did that well considering how slow I thought I was going! I was definitely NOT prepared for the terrain though and I had no idea almost the entire course was going to be uphill lol. I think the biggest thing that kept motivating me to not slow down was having so many other people there running alongside me who were also exhausted but kept pushing themselves. I'm sure you'll do great! It was such an awesome experience!
