I hate the way I look!! I won’t look at myself in the mirror because it just makes me depressed. My health is not good due to hypothyroidism and I cannot manage to lose weight 😢😢. I barely eat anything all day, but still cannot lose weight. I know I need to start exercising but with my hypothyroidism, I am ALWAYS extremely tired and zero energy. I want to lose 70 lbs but so afraid I won’t be able to do it 😢😢
170.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 70.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I am anemic and pretty much fluctuate from being to not being. I’m on synthroid and have been for a while. Yes, I am a certified firefighter and right now I’m inactive due to some health issues, which really gets me depressed!! I LOVE being a firefighter and busted my butt going through the Fire College and getting certified, so it kills me that I’m having to take a break from it 😢😢. I admit I definitely need to exercise more since I’m not lifting hoses, wearing extra 80 lbs of gear, etc. I’ve also got to learn to start eating again (more than a couple slices of bread, and few bites of dinner) and try getting more veggies (ones that are allowed with my blood thinner). Checked my blood last night and I am EXTREMELY too thin and at threshold of thin enough to start hemorrhaging internally😳😣. So, today I am eating plenty of vit K foods because I need to thicken up some. Can you say: hello spinach and broccoli?! 😂😂. Thank y’all so much for all the encouragement and advice!! You have no idea how much it has meant to me!! I will keep y’all updated on how things are going. Thank y’all!! 😊😊

Ok, so here is the deal with the Coumadin and dark green leafy vegetables.. you can eat these things. What is required is consistency in the diet. You can’t have a Coumadin dose RX’d for a certain way of eating then suddenly start eating a lot of greens. But, if the dosage can be adjusted to account for the fact that you eat these Veggies, then that could be workable for you. #2 why are you on COUMADIN. Obviously there are other issues going on. #3 ask for a nutritional consult. And see if there is another blood thinner that might work just as well for you and your desired WOE. And, as others have suggested, change doctors if that is possible.

Yes, set yourself mini goals in steps. Success increases motivation.

Listen to Kenna, Sounds like your dose is to high and dark leafy greens aren't good for you..Talk to a dietitian about what's safe for you to eat. p.s. l'm on blood thinner meds so I've learned the good and bad of what foods to eat.
