I genuinely have fun in workout and eating healthy yummy stuffs. My weight is pretty decent for my height (around 126lb and 5’ 6.5”)
But just like a lot of girls of my generation, I always compare my body in the mirror with beautiful fashion models who I suppose have great access to trainers and nutritionists (and photoshop, maybe?), which really stresses me out and makes me totally lose my self-esteem. I know this is so damn unhealthy for my mind tho but it’s really hard to stop, you know :(

The bombardment of VERY unrealistic body image in media these days is real and as is its effect. Keep in mind as best as you can that there is no maybe about the use of photoshop in the images you are comparing yourself against. There is not an image that projected in a magazine or on 'screen' that is not touched. Period. Where you are at is not just 'pretty decent', its about perfect. Sure work on tone, strength, agility, health in general for those are all good things. But try your very best not to fit yourself into a 'shape' that is nothing but marketing smoke and mirrors... in other words, nothing but lies.

I'm glad I am not your age. Unrealistic body image is a real problem. I can't be as articulate as JLente, but agree with every word.
