I hate when I can't sleep. All sorts of bad caloric things can happen. I read also or knit sometimes. Hope your day brightens with the dawn!

Lack of sleep is stressful and for me can cause cravings. Hope you are drinking enough water-- that helps me..

Thanks all, I am feeling better today! Lavender, I got my mom's phone to a state where she can still use it as a phone, which should be enough until Google fixes things in their end. It might be time to get her an upgrade anyway; the manufacturer is no longer making that model and the firmware cannot be upgraded any further. Horseshu, I also knit! What kinds of things do you like to make? Bango, thanks for the advice! I'm already pretty careful about drinking enough water, since I get chronic headaches and people keep telling me that drinking water helps. It does, to some extent, but Tylenol and a generally healthy lifestyle help more.

I like to knit anything but quilts. I used to put my prize hand knitted quilts over the children when they fell asleep on the floor or couch or chair. They asked me not to do that, as it made them have nightmares about being caught in spider webs (an exaggeration I'm sure). After that heart just went out of knitted quilts/blankets for me. I've made tons of sweaters, mittens, socks, gloves, hats, scarves, hats that were also scarves, dishrags and washcloths, even felt clogs! Let's not forget the sweater vests for my daughter's chickens! LOL I don't knit as obsessively as in my younger days, but still do. Especially if the grands bring me something they want me to make. Glad you are having a better day!
