I noticed that. When I was in college, I ate a burger and fries every day and was averaging a scary 60 oz of coke daily! :/ I somehow dropped to my lowest weight ever when I was eating like this, but the past few years, the more I try to be healthy, the harder it is to get my body in the right place, especially since having two (almost three) kids....

Good for you - I thought perhaps you were eating too few calories before and maybe your body was holding on!

You have been getting consistent advice here from experienced dieters to eat a bit more and let your body let go of starvation mode. Try targeting 1000-1200 calories a day for a few weeks and see what that does for you. You will be better nourished and yet still in calorie deficit. Perhaps that will be a better weight loss strategy.

Is the list of foods on your profile, you can or cannot eat? Is this list b/c of the medication or religious beliefs? I agree with Erica. Unless you are under 5 feet tall you should be eating over 1000 calories a day.

I cannot eat them, it is because I take a medication in the MAOI class. And I'm 5'6" so yeah, it just seems to me that that is a lot of food.

Have you tried the Fat Secret calculator for Recommended Daily Intake? That will give you a maintenance figure of calorie intake, then you can subtract 500-700 per day to get a good figure for weight loss. It's a helpful benchmark.
