Big Boy Optimus's Journal, 05 December 2017

My unofficial weight this morning is 114.9kg.

I forgot to record my weight yesterday morning but that's ok because my Monday weight is always overlooked.

I've decided to experiment this week :) I'm having 250ml of Amasi everyday. That adds 157 calories to my day even on my fast day which is usually about 27 calories. I have read that Amasi will help break down foods better and has lots of benefits to the gut. It's more beneficial than yoghurt.

I haven't been to gym in 5 weeks so I haven't consumed Creatine, BCAA's or Whey Protein. Bathroom renovations at home almost done and cleaning up still to be completed then I'll have some time to get to gym :)

Carike23 basically you need a minimum of 16 hours between your last meal of the day and your 1st meal of the next day. What you eat during the eating hours also plays a key role to it. You need to stay under your RDI calories for the day. There's so many tweaks that you can do to suit you and adjust it. For example you can choose to eat low carb during those hours. Some of us combine Intermittent Fasting with the 5:2 Fast Diet where we choose 2 or 3 days in the week to consume a maximum of 500/600 calories. Just google "Intermittent Fasting". There's tons of articles and websites about it.

Milyumi I'm not sure if results will visibly show but if we believe in the science behind it, my body should get a boost in its ability to digest food especially carbs. Sometimes such experiments need to be done over a long period of time to actually assess their effect on us. But let's see if I do have anything to report back next week :)
