maeday42's Journal, 16 October 2017

I think I've grown tired of meat - I don't know what to eat anymore. I stare in the freezer and see chicken, beef, pork and think I had that yesterday, I had that the day before, we've eaten A HUGE amount of chicken. Then I ask hubby to decide, if he can't make a decision (usually he can't) he takes me out. Then I stare at the menu a while and always order a burger. Wish I liked fish - I don't! Oh well. :-( Maybe some Bon Chon Chicken - hubby likes that a lot and we usually get 2 meals out of it.

Yeah .. just last evening I was thinking "I'm getting pretty sick and tired of eating the same things all the time". I'm going to have to diversify!!

Try different spices-paprika, basil, cilantro, rosemary, ancho chile powder, mint, etc. Make your own mix. Buy spices at the Dollar Store to give it a whirl. Try different mustards- Dijon, whole grain, brown. Now is the time to open your horizons to a different WOE. It may take 5-10 times to decide if you really like or dislike something. You need to tweak. The worst thing that can happen is the friendly garbage can eats quite well. Try to plan ahead. Lots better and so much cheaper. All of you are doing great. Just being on the FS is a plus.....
