Friday Morning Weigh in. I'm hoping my scale isn't playing mind games on me! I stepped on and off about 20x this morning 😂 does the morning or evening weigh ins make a difference? Which is the most accurate? Should I even be caring what the scale says?

My opinion on this one is that you get a better accuracy in the mornings because you've slept and not eaten or drinking anything. Just make sure to potty before weighing.

I've always learned to: not weigh everyday. weigh 1 time a week on the same day/time each week. like emilygu i like to weigh 1st thing in morning after i potty. also if you've been working out and strength training, you've been building muscle; and muscle weighs more than fat. and lastly, try to also go by how your clothes are fitting. do they fit better and/or not so tight? if so, you know you are losing weight. but dont give up. 💪👍☺💗🙏

Sounds good!!! That sounds how I've been doing it. I've def noticed more in my clothes than the scale. I'll be honest, I've been a little scale crazy. i need to stop! Then.. i don't even believe the scale if it's a drop in weight. I second guess everything.

I weight myself every morning & evening but I only record my morning naked weight. 😜 I can usually get an idea what my morning weight will be by what my evening weight is telling me. When I go long periods of not weighing myself is when I really start to screw up. The more "in tune" I am with my body helps me to stay on track.

The scale is your friend because it keeps you informed. Weighing at night is all wrong. Weigh in the morning after a poop.

I love that we all can agree.. a weigh in after a good poop is key :D hahahaha

I agree that the scale does do one thing...it makes you take your head out of the sand

The scale is only part of the equation. I stopped weighting myself everyday because I don't want to stress about it.

My scale is up, down, up, down. I saw my doctor for blood work on Monday, and all my numbers (cholesterol, blood glucose, etc) are down from the last time I saw her, well within "healthy" parameters. Additionally, my clothes are much looser. And yet I find myself staring at my bathroom scale, WILLING it to show a smaller number. You and I need to learn to accentuate the positive, like the song says.

Morning is better because the food you ate isn't being weighed also because it digested so it's more accurate

I don't stress about weighing every day (yes, morning), because I'm learning about my body. But I only record it once a week or so. I pretend I'm floating when I step on the scale, just for fun LOL.

Best time to weigh in: 1. in the morning 2. get some coffee without sugar. 3. after entering bath. (will differ by 1kg btw) At this time the result will be accurate.
