Well I'm back! I haven't weighed myself because my scale broke and I have yet to get a new one. However I know I gained a lot of weight in the last 2 months. My Dad has been in bad health and it had me severely depressed. Since I'm a food addict..yep said it...no going back now. I of course drowned all my repressed feelings in food. AND it was the holidays so of course that meant copious amounts of baking and an OVERLOAD of sugar. If I never mentioned it before refined sugar is my kryptonite...seriously...its makes me REALLY SICK. I have PCOS so my body doesn't process sugar and I'm on metformin to help my body process all the refined sugars and sugars that truck with simple carbs; but when you go on a depression binge guess what happens...violently ill for days. So I did it to myself. I realized I don't want to live like this and I really don't want to go through all the health problems my Dad is dealing with and he's been obese and diabetic much of his life. I'm obese and have PCOS but thankfully I've kept my levels from tipping over the diabetic line and I want to make it so I'm not so dangerously close to that line anymore. I want to be looking at that line with binoculars! So here I go!!! Back to eating clean, healthy and smaller portions! And this time...WORKING OUT! Not just walks, we all know I can walk till the cows come home and my jiggly jelly rolls just bounce along for the ride so now I'm going to really kick it into high gear! Here's to getting my life where I want it! Healthy! and to being Accountable! No more hiding! I record it all so I have to face the fact that I'm the only one hurting me. :)
