I'm going to try an experiment. I'm going to add half a cup of Fiber One breakfast cereal and 4 oz. of skim milk to my breakfast. (In addition to my 2 scrambled eggs). For some reason I've been craving milk. I'm hoping the 14 g of fiber will help regulate my plumbing. I'm also hoping that adding in some carbs in the morning might spark some energy. I've been thinking of doing this for a while now. Any feedback or suggestions are welcome. Have a great hump day FS buddies.

I hope your morning routine helps. Check your water intake if that's low. Best wishes.

fiber one has fake sweeteners in it. fresh raspberries are low in calories and have a lot of fiber. or you could add black beans to your scrambled eggs - also high in fiber and protein. finally, try drinking 16 oz of room temp water with 1/2 a lemon squeezed in 1st thing everyday. that will help your digestion.

I haven't had milk forever well I do the almond unsweetened. I can't believe the sugars in milk! No more for me don't even miss it.

I'm with Roesquire. many raw veggies and fruit have great amounts of all the fiber you would hopefully need.

Change up your morning routine with a fruit smoothie! Loaded with fiber and keeps you filled til lunch! I'm actually only consuming egg whites now to reduce cholesterol. :)

Good luck with which ever changes you decide to try. The cereal wouldn't be for me, but you won't know unless you try.

You gotta like what you eat! Careful with added sugars though. If you add it to the am take it our somewhere else!

I keep up with my water intake. I too, share most of these concerns. I do already eat a wide variety of vegetables both raw and cooked for fiber, but I don't think I get enough fiber.. It is my desire for milk that baffles me. I bought a quart of milk to last 8 days. I'm hoping my net carbs will still be less than 30. It's a balancing act for me with Type II Diabetes. I ate my milk/cereal this morning and it hit the spot. 💩Success. TMI? Sorry. I'll keep you posted on the results of my experiment.
