Well thank the higher forces that I live a twenty minute drive from the nearest McDonald's because I am DYING for one of those stupid sausage and cheese fat bombs they call a breakfast sandwich. That and their fries are the only thing I really like from there and usually I don't crave them but this morning? I could probably eat five in five minutes.
This is probably because I had movie theatre popcorn for dinner last night when I saw a movie so it was empty calories and salt, which I typically try to avoid. Oh well. I'll have my bagel thin with cream cheese and fight off the craving.
I have noticed though, that when I crave food, it's usually either something with ruin I should avoid (watermelon, cantaloupe, BANANAS), or super greasy, super salty like a McDonald's breakfast sandwich or KFC chicken with gravy. It's really really not worth the extra calories etc and I know that, especially now that I've love 58.5lbs and have hope for myself again. But OH. MY. GODS.

After you've been eating healthier foods for a long time, you may find that if you give in to your cravings and eat a bunch of McDonald's less healthy foods you'll feel lousy afterwards, kind of greasy and stomach-heavy. That feeling/memory can then be enough to put you off of that kind of food for a good long while after that. When you change your eating habits enough, for long enough, it turns out some foods aren't as good as you'd remembered them to be.

you are always stronger than your strongest cravings. schedule a meal that you allow yourself an indulgence. making the choice is better than giving in, and once you get to your scheduled indulgence you can then decide if you still want it. (it's what I do)

Oh yeah, I felt like hell after one piece of KFC the other day. Anyway I had my bagel and had some lunch meet with it so that helped. We had a big Mother's Day lunch where I had rolls, berries, meat and cheese so even though my sugar is high today (but still in my limit) it was healthy sugars from fruit on my good list. Mmmmm strawberries and black berries!
