Is it normal that when you increase your protein that it makes you not hungry? I'm having a hard time eating now. I wait until between 11 & 2 to have my first meal, and then I have to force myself to eat something later. I'm not even making my calorie quota. And I'm afraid now to eat crappy stuff. I've quit having my tea ( that I loved) because I only like it with sugar. I sometimes have green mint tea because I can have that with nothing in it. My possessed scale is stuck. I checked my readings from a few years ago and when my measurements were the same as now I was 5-7 pounds lighter. And my waist is an inch smaller now than it was then. Not sure what to do.

I've not been on this site for long, but in my experience while bodybuilding for a full year in 2014, my hunger nearly went away completely. I only ate about 800 calories a day, 6 extremely tiny meals, and was in the gym 4 hours 6 days a week and I was 140lbs at 5'7". 140g protein a day, 35g carbs. I was slightly tired the whole time but I felt great otherwise, except for developing an irrational paranoia and fear of eating anything that wasn't on the papers my trainer gave me. What you described sounds very normal to me. I wouldn't be worried unless you have other health issues but that's information that only you and your doctor would be able to do anything with relating to your diet. Just make sure you're eating the right kinds of protein at the appropriate times before and after hard exercise, and that you do exercise enough to be using the protein......otherwise it gets excreted and is essentially wasted.

I eat a lot of plain chicken, tuna and protein powder ( a really good one), love lifting weights and power walk. Yes, paranoia sounds about right, lol

that sounds about like what i did yep :) if you ever get sick of the flavor of plain or boiled meats (yes, i totally boil my chicken breasts or my turkey hotdogs, shrimp, etc) try sauteeing them in lemon juice with herb rubs or whatever.... I left home not knowing anything about cooking lol but now all my friends talk so much about how I seem to magically make foods they thought they hated taste amazing. HERBS! And surprisingly, a lot of herbs help with muscle/joint healing and swelling/water retention, etc. It took a while, but I learned to think of all this effort as being really fun and kind of a hobby. I'm sad I ever let myself deviat from it and let myself gain weight :/

Ya, I tend to boil my chicken breasts a lot, lol. I'm lucky that I'm ok with plain foods, although I do really like spice. But the thought of boiling any kind of hot dog makes me want to yack, lol yes, I feel the same way about the weight gain. I went on here about 5 or 6 years ago and did really well. Then my joint issue got worse and found out I had rheumatoid arthritis. Had a bad flair up, couldn't go to the gym but could still eat...then, before you know it, I'm back trying to get the weight off again.
