I promised myself to keep my carbs to 150g today and I managed to do just that :)

My macros today are :
127.7g Fat
150.8g Carbs
33.1g Fibre
199.4g Protein

What's important is that good carbs from fruit and veg contain good amounts of Fibre and many people don't get enough fibre into their diet.

From my research during my journey I have found that some of those who follow the low carb lifestyle don't know that you get good carbs and bad carbs and by eliminating all carbs from their diet, it allows them to avoid bad carbs automatically. Bad carbs are refined carbs. Good carbs are carbs from fruit & veg.

I was discussing my weight loss with a friend and she insisted that one cannot lose weight/fat if they still eating carbs. Unfortunately she is a victim of misinformation that one would find online. Many adopt the hatred towards carbs but I've proven that there are effective weight loss methods that don't require eliminating carbs completely.

need vegetables and fruit in the diet and you're quite right that it really is a misconception that all carbs are bad. I eat loads of veggies i.e salads, bringal, spinach, cabbage, broccoli etc

I agree with you, I can loose weight with eating good and bad carbs but it depends on the quantities you eat. People who eliminate their carbs loose quicker but struggle to maintain.
