Addie Aline's Journal, 21 September 2015

I didn't walk yesterday because my hip and leg were hurting worse than ever before my pain pills only helped a little and I've been up with it since 3 this morning so I guess no treadmill today. It's my left hip if it doesn't get better I'll have to see the Dr it's probably Arthritis.

I wanted to go to Sprouts this morning to get the stuff for the natural pain cure but maybe I will make it after lunch. I don't like to drive in the rain and taking pain meds. Both my parents and my oldest sister were killed in auto accidents in the rain, my sister 9 months before my parents. So I don't drive in the rain too often and it's a nice steady rain not the quick down pours like we usually get. I'll see after lunch I really want the stuff to make the pain cure.

I had an ok weekend except for the pain and I really wanted to use my treadmill it's kinda become a habit.

Since I didn't have anything with the Swerve in it yesterday I don't think the water taste as sweet so I'll see what happens today. I did read on the Atkins blog that it is something that happens (the sweetness) is on the tip of my tongue and my lips not in the back of my mouth like the diabetes sight said. So I'll wait and see and continue my LCHF eating.

I have to get brave and get on the scales soon. I don't know what it may say but I'm beginning to see a little difference in my clothes. I'm probably like some of you I have what I call skinny clothes, normal clothes, and fat clothes, I'm in the fat clothes and they were really tight now they are a little roomy not enough to try any of the normal yet because that would probably depress me. But even though it's slow I am seeing some progress. I'm telling myself because it's so slow my mind and body will adjust to my new lifestyle.

Hoping everyone has a good day although it's Monday.

Hope the pain will ease 😞 Good that you are seeing some results from your weight loss, however!

Addie ... remember that eating grains (such as wheat) will cause you more joint pain. Are you staying away from all those grains? Take the glucosomine chondroitin, if you aren't already. Lots of athletes swear bt that, too.

Mom, I'm completely grain free have been for several months. I use almond or coconut flour and flax seed mill. I don't do well with glucosamine chondroitin I use turmeric instead. The pain in my lower leg isn't really in the joint but of course the hip pain is. I've been reading on it and it may be coming from my back I'm not sure I just need relief. I'm even open to getting an injection in my spine if it would help. It'll have to be after Wednesday because I have an eye procedure then. I don't know what happen I was doing good since I got the Inverstion Table.

I imagine a part of your pain could be from the back. That seems to be where mine generates from. You were doing so well with the inversion table ... sometimes it's just the way we turn to do something that will cause it to start up again. I hope you get some relief.
