Dehydration is sometimes confused by the body as hunger, so we eat, when we should just drink water. Food does contain moisture, so eating satisfies the dehydration, but can also cause us to over eat. When in doubt drink water first, then decide if you are still hungry.

It was suggested to me that coconut water is apparently really good for dehydration. Maybe you could try that next time.
