Good advice. In comparison with a lot of people's goals, my loss was slow, but I was happy with it

Sherrye, last Spring my Dr. compared my weight to 'other women your age''don't worry there's nothing much you can do about it''take vitamins'. I'm so glad I listened to you instead (now 15+lbs lighter), now onto strength training :-) So, don't listen to anyone else's 'negative thoughts' either. :-)

Breezy, I lost weight multiple times from late 40's & after. I got down to between 150 & 160 & thought that was the best it would get. Something about this latest endeavor made me strive for more. I got to 145 for the first time in awhile. Now I'm maintaining under 140 & think I could possibly hit 135. And I eat. I have days I'm totally a lazy couch potato. All about mindfulness & balance for me.

I wanted to clarify, I'm not starving. Doesn't mean I sit & eat a bag of chips or a dozen cookies. I eat real food. And the lazy days are balanced with exercise & movement 😊

The numbers I look at now are inches (waistline) and steps (treadmill). and I had lobster ravioli with no guilt 😃 That's something I learned from being here and from you. Thank you :-)
