Weekends stink. I'm always hungrier and want to eat more. Is anyone else like this? What do you do? I've done "okay" so far, but normally I have a salad for lunch and I just had a turkey burger (no roll, just plain).

I know what you mean. Plan ahead for the munchies. When I have the right choices of foods readily available, and account for them in my calories, I feel satisfied and I don't feel guilty.

Could be because you're craving something in particular, like an energy source, such as protein, fat, or just outright sugar. Find out what it is you need, and see if there's a way to get it healthily, within moderation. For example: I get sugar cravings sometimes, if I'm really tired (I struggle with sleep) so to avoid going nuts on carb and sugar heavy foods, I'll eat a few grapes... 5-10, usually. Grapes are full of sugar, but fructose with the fiber that's used to help it get through the body properly... far better than grabbing a Mars Bar. To stave hunger, I'll go with something slow to burn, like pasta, and I'll use things like protein-heavy foods, such as tuna, and will take protein shakes.

I'm hungrier on weekends too. Actually, your turkey burger sounds pretty healthy, especially since you didn't have the bun. I keep healthy snacks around, but there are times I just want what I want. We keep sugar free ice cream around, and I will have a glass of wine (or two!) occasionally.

One of the most important things, IMO, is when you have a moment of weakness, as we all do from time to time, you grab something at least healthy and get proper nutrients, rather than the cheap stuff. They say you should listen to your body - if you're reaching for something, there's probably a reason for it. :P

Turkey burger was a great choice - good protein there!

I hate the weekends too, my sister is more likely to cook on the weekends and she loves to fry food or just to make something with no concept of low anything.

I've found that small changes are more easily managed. If you just right into a calorie deficient diet your body tends to complain more.
